Hunters of the Ice Age – Neanderthals and co.

The change between warm and ice ages shaped the early history of people in Lower Saxony. Neanderthal hunting stories can be told based on the first campsites. Modern man leaves behind traces of tents, differentiated tool inventories and art objects made of amber. This hunter's life comes back to life with the help of tools, hunting remains and campsites.

In order to deepen the topic, one of the following workshops, thematically appropriate to the tour, can be booked:

  • Craft leather arm guard using flint knives
  • Build a campground with tents in the model
