Marine ecology: oceans in danger

guide

What is currently happening in our seas? The urgent, major environmental problems do not stop at our oceans: growing marine pollution, global overfishing and climate change, which is warming the seas and causing them to become increasingly acidic. Healthy oceans are extremely important for the diversity of life on our planet and for the global climate. The themed tour introduces marine ecosystems - the North Sea, coral reef and deep sea - and uses these examples to highlight current environmental and climate problems.
