From what sources does research draw its knowledge about the Iron Age and what statements can be derived from grave finds? How does archeology work today compared to the 19th century? And how does our idea of the past actually arise? In addition to an insight into the lives of people in ancient Etruria and the scientific history of archeology, the instrumentalization of history is also the topic of this tour. Using the examples of Italy and Germany, the development of national movements in the 19th century is examined with regard to the reference to the Etruscans, Romans and Germanic peoples.
