the golden age – power and wealth

tour + workshop (optional)

With the invention of bronze, people began to live in a differentiated society. The traders and craftsmen have a special position in society, centers of power and very richly furnished graves make the upper class of this time clear. The typical ornamentation makes the special religious status of the sun clear, hoards and sacrificial finds are common, rock carvings depict the first personified gods, and the burial customs allow conclusions to be drawn about established rites. Knowledge of geometry and astronomy is available.
