biological Diversity

tour + workshop (optional)

Diversity counts! Why is biodiversity so important? And what are the effects of the decline in biodiversity? Biodiversity is one of the essential foundations of life on earth. Using the example of fish, the WasserWelten show the diversity of animal species and the genetic diversity within a species. The diversity of habitats and their complex ecological relationships are illustrated using the example of recent and fossil habitats.

In order to deepen the topic, the following workshop, which is thematically appropriate to the tour, can be booked:

  • Animal sculptures made of wire and plaster | 7th – 10th grade
